Dimples Are Cute on Your Face But Not on Your Butt!

Do you feel self-conscious about your body when you’re wearing shorts or a bathing suit? Do cellulite dimples make you feel like you need to cover up at all times? Cellulite can affect even the most fit individual, and there are not many solutions that can remove it completely. Advertisements for over-the-counter creams may highlight their ability to reduce your cellulite, but these are likely just hiding it without making any permanent corrections. When you’ve tried everything to get rid of your cellulite, your best option is Cellulaze™. It’s a one-time treatment designed to reduce the appearance of cellulite on your body.Cellulaze Treatment for Cellulite Before and After Photos

Why Do I Have Cellulite?

Multiple factors can contribute to the appearance of cellulite. Genetics, hormones, and an unhealthy lifestyle are just a few things that can contribute. While diet and exercise (and the subsequent weight loss) can help minimize cellulite, it won’t completely go away.

Cellulite is caused by pockets of fat that are being squeezed by connective tissue under the skin. The connective bands pull the skin down, leaving dimpled marks on the skin.

Will Cellulaze™ Work For Me?

Cellulaze™ is an effective treatment if you are suffering from cellulite that has not responded to diet and exercise. You should be in relatively good health. Cellulaze™ will work best for you if you have mild to moderate cellulite, but it will also help reduce the appearance of more severe cellulite.

How Does Cellulaze™ Work?

Cellulaze™ is performed as an outpatient procedure. You will be put under local anesthesia and oral sedation or IV sedation. Dr. Schlechter will make incisions along the treatment site and will insert the Cellulaze™ laser. The laser emits energy to heat your fat deposits so it can release the connective tissues that are causing the dimpling on the skin. This will help smooth out your skin, significantly reducing the appearance of cellulite along the treatment site. In addition to reducing cellulite, the laser also stimulates the production of collagen. This protein is vital to the health of the skin, and its levels decrease as you age. Increased collagen production will help your skin maintain its elasticity and overall health.

What Can I Expect After My Cellulaze™ Procedure?

Most patients resume normal activities within a day or so. You will experience swelling and bruising along the treatment site, but these side effects are temporary and will subside within a week or two. While you may begin to notice your results immediately after your procedure, it can take up to a full year before your final results are apparent.
